The Bill (Reg. No.2409) coordinates effective legislation with the international agreements of Ukraine concerning protection of children´s rights. Thus, it supplements the Law "On Protection of Childhood" with the list of preventive measures and safeguards of implementation of court resolutions regarding child´s right for contact.
The Committee members received 15 motions, while drafting the Bill for the Second Reading. The majority of motions were taken into account.
Pursuant to the Bill, "the court facilitates creation of proper conditions for a child to exercise its rights determined by the Law and international agreements of Ukraine recognized by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as compulsory".
